The first site on my list of really great gambling sites is Casinomeister. To me, this is the top gambling portal. Bryan Bailey seems sincere, although I know he catches a little heat in some other forums and has been nicknamed "the Goofmeister" in at least one forum. But the bottom line is that he offers unique, high quality information that is regularly updated, and the forum on his site is useful and active.

The best slots guide that I've found (and it's certainly got a broader and more ambitious scope than my humble site devoted to Major Millions and other Microgaming powered progressive slots) is All Online Slots. As far as I've seen, there is no more comprehensive guide to online slot games available anywhere on the web.

Ted Loh runs and used to own Got2bet Online Gambling Guide. I'm a moderator of the forum there, but there's not much activity in the forum any more besides the occasional posters trying to plug their sites. But the information regarding online gambling here is accurate and well-written, and it's an altogether high class quality gambling site. (Rare enough in this industry.)

The best site for gambling strategy is Michael Shackleford's Wizard of Odds site. Shackleford is a professional actuary who has studied the mathematics of casino games at some length. He's done consulting work for multiple online and land-based casino companies. His webmaster, Michael Bluejay, is one of the smarter and more entertaining people in this industry as well.

The most comprehensive online gambling directory that I've been able to find is Casino City. I met Michael Corfman, the CEO of Casino City in Las Vegas in October 2004, where he was speaking about his lawsuit against the Department of Justice. Corfman was a sincere and intelligent speaker, and his website comes about as close to being comprehensive as any guide to online gambling sites could be. Definitely worth a visit.

Ken Smith is another webmaster friend of mine who I met in Las Vegas last October. He runs the best blackjack informational site online, and also one of the more original slot websites as well. His information and its presentation is unique and stands out from the banner farms and ad-only gambling sites in a big way. If more webmasters ran sites like Ken's, the industry would be a lot better off in more ways than one.

There are probably more good poker sites online than any other sub category of the gambling world, but there are a few poker sites that I keep bookmarked and visit regularly. Steve Badger's Play Winning Poker is my favorite poker site, not only because Steve's a really cool guy, but also because he's one of the best writers online today. Another great poker site is Poker Pulse, which lists all known online poker rooms in order of traffic. Iggy's Poker Blog is one of my other favorite poker sites, just because he's so doggone funny and smart.
